Job description

It’s an exciting time to join Metrika, a Series A-funded startup that’s shaping the future of digital asset risk management. As a Senior Blockchain Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting blockchain and off-chain data to help financial institutions and regulators identify, measure, manage, and monitor blockchain risks.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the early stages of our platform, influence key initiatives, and become a domain expert in blockchain technology. If you have a strong background in data analysis, programming, and a passion for blockchain, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing:

  1. Blockchain Data Analysis: Analyse on-chain and off-chain data to uncover insights, trends, and anomalies that impact the operational health and viability of blockchain networks.

  2. Smart Contract Analysis & Risk Indicators: Delve into the smart contract code of digital assets to understand their implementation and develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to monitor these risks.

  3. Data Ingestion & Synthesis: Identify data sources to collect data, build robust data ingestion services and create aggregate data sets and scripts to calculate synthetic derived metrics.

  4. Dashboard & Alert Development: Design, develop, and QA dashboards, reports, and alerts to convey critical metrics and insights for the unique use cases of our users. Ensure comprehensive documentation of these dashboards and alerts, providing clear, user-friendly guides and explanations to help users understand and effectively utilise the platform’s features.

  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to refine and implement new data-driven product features, ensuring seamless integration into the Metrika Platform

  6. Innovation & Research: Stay current with the latest blockchain and data science developments. Apply new techniques to enhance our analytical capabilities and contribute to the advancement of our platform.
